"Surely a better system would help "

About: Stirling Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

Attending what I thought would be my local A&E, Larbert NHS, I was astonished to find out Stirling was the hospital for me, although I stay half a mile from Larbert NHS. Proceeded to reception and told to take a seat where I would be looked at by a nurse. After examination I was told to sit back in waiting room for a staggering 2 and a half – 3 hours. The nurse examined 10 – 15 people before appearing from room to proceed to I would imagine was the doctors rooms. Surely a better system would help with backlog of people waiting to see the doctor. Surely Larbert, Stirling and Falkirk should all have A&Es for the size of this area.
