Ive been working in Mental health rehab (Stepping Stones) now for about a year and 5 months, and i love my job. I meet so many wonderful individuals who may be struggling to cope or manage with their 'diagnosis' and 'sypmtoms' and we aim to help people achieve a good quality of life again. I enjoy helping people and mainly treating the people i work with as equals, because so many of the people i work with are victims to stigma ie when they go to the shop that it's nice for them to come back to a smiling face and an ear to listen to their thoughts and feelings.
Im proud of the work we do and want to improve peoples experience in whatever way possible. I love that this site is here beacause it gives me insights into other patients or carers from other areas too to learn from.
