As a university student, being ill away from home can be a daunting experience. In my second year I got glandular fever which was not picked up by doctors at a different surgery, but a nurse at the University medical centre recognised that it was glandular fever almost immediately. They were so kind and caring and put all my worries at rest, including helping me sort out any extensions that I might have needed with my university work. Not only did I receive great medical treatment, but also fantastic pastoral care. Even when I had gone home from university the nurse phoned me to check to see how I was doing. I was really blown away by this standard of care and I can't thank the practice enough.
"Thank you!"
