Yesterday I was admitted as a day-care patient, to have a Stent fitted to one of my main arteries.
Unfortunately, due to further complications, this wasn't possible and I am now awaiting further treatment which will involve a triple heart by-pass.
However, I know that the Care and Treatment I will be receiving will be first class after my experience yesterday.
The doctor was personable and informative before, during and after my procedure.
The Nurses on the Ward were so kind and helpful during my short stay, and the Care I received was wonderful.
There are others, too many to mention, but I know when I return to have the Bypass Surgery, I will be treated and looked after in an awesome manner.
We are very lucky to have a NHS, and a fantastic Hospital like SUH.
