"emergency visit to A & E"

having arrived my daughter dropped me off & parked up with a three hour ticket i was processed in a couple of minutes & told 3rd in line to see triage nurse

On seeing her she quickly understood what i had done & processed my allergies, pain killers i had taken, administered morphine, worked out what X-rays were needed & made my arm comfortable with a sling then sent along to Xray

At X-ray i was booked in immediately & shortly on our way back to A & E

After another short wait i was in to see the doctor who was very professional and clear on how i had to look after my severely compressed but not broken arm

he adjusted my sling explaining why it had to elevated and even tucked the sling under the collar of my polo shirt so it wouldn't dig in my neck

We left the car park exactly 2 hours after arriving and every part of the care provided was faultless

All the staff were friendly, courteous & extremely professional
