For the time prior to my operation in February 2018 l had nothing but praise with the quick response of the teams involved. I was a bit worried about what the actual operation experience would be like as l dont like staying overnight in most places, let alone a hospital. I was asked to arrive at midday and 25 minutes later l was being put into the operating theatre! They staff showed me nothing but friendliness, kindness and most of all dignity and respect. The consultant came to visit soon after to tell me the good news about my operation. I was well looked after day and night and nothing was too much trouble. I was amazed at the quality and amount of food offered. For breakfast l felt l was in a hotel offered so many different choices of food. I cannot praise and thank all of the team of gynaecology and Allen post op ward enough, but also all the other staff that were involved in my case.
