"Waste of a visit"

About: York Bridge Surgery

Called in for an annual check up and the nurse refused to do it as they stated it had been done in September. I asked if my blood pressure and cholesterol was the same and they just replied, "yes". How did they know 4 months later?

This is the 3rd time I have been to this surgery where a nurse has actually asked what I was doing there even though it was they who had sent for me by letter.

Total waste of space.

Need new personnel in there with some man management skills before the surgery is forced to close down.

Dear Patient

I am sorry for this mix up, on looking into the history of what happened is seems the letter we discussed was sent to you on the 9th November and was sent in Error the person who sent it should have checked you records and seen you already have had your Annual review in September. Unfortunately the service we provide is under considerable pressure and we simply cannot repeat annual reviews or tests as the resources we have cannot stretch to that. Please accept our apologies for this error by the Admin team , I have spoken to the manager of the team and she will take it up with them. I will call you to discuss the more private element to this.
