"Ward 7"

About: Birmingham Women's Hospital / Gynaecology

I had a Hysteroscopy on Ward 7. I was really happy with the experience. The staff on Ward 7 are fantastic. They were really friendly and very sympathatic. I was really nervous and anxious about my surgery as I dont like hospitals, however I was at ease when the staff allowed my husband stay with me on the Ward all throughout my stay as requested in the Pre Op appointment. Thank You so much for that Ward 7 as that helped me relax. Its nice having a familiar face with you for support and also it puts you at ease like it did to me. (Some wards and departments can be very rude to you when you request your family member to be with you) but ward 7 was absolutely fantastic. Keep it up 😊 From the beginning to the end of my surgery staff were amazing. They attended to my needs and also kept checking on me to see if im ok. They provided me with sandwhich and toasts ASAP as i was really hungry after surgery. The nurses and surgeons explained everything to me in detail and didnt rush things. They gave me time to think and speak. And also let me make my own decisions. The staff in the aneasthetic room were great too. They have fantastic bedside manner and always kept me at ease. All in all I had a fantastic experience on Ward 7. Thank You so much once again. I cant thank you enough. Keep it up ward 7 👍
