"Waste of a week of my life to be..."

About: Pinderfields General Hospital

What I liked

Some of the staff were nice.

What could be improved

Keeping you informed, I was on an operation list and fasted for 28 hours before the nurses chased a Dr to find out why I hadn't gone to theatre to be told I was never on the list. So whoever removed me didn't relay the information, I was also lost in the system for 2 days after transferring wards and I had to kick up a fuss to get seen by someone as nobody realised I hadn't been seen by a Dr. The lack of care of some of the Dr's was inexcusable I was insulted by 1 Dr by being told I had the 4 F's classic symptoms of Gallstones - Fat, Fair,Female,Forty its disrespectful to be told this when in severe pain of an attack. They need to organise there communication skills as the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Altogether I was in for 1 week and been forgotton about twice and then told I was being transferred to a different hospital needless to say I walked out for my sanity although still in severe pain.

Anything else?

I would never go to this hospital again even if my life depended on it.
