Having past my due date (22/02/18) I called up the midwife led unit on 24th explaining that I was having contractions and that my previous baby arrived very quickly, I was told to go in and get checked out although my contractions were still abut irregular. On arrival I was taken to triage and looked after by a lovely midwife. She made me feel very at ease and comfortable during examination and although they were very busy tried her best to find me a room. After asking for some pain relief she then walked me over to the delivery suite when I was passed over to another midwife, who was just as lovely... I was given gas and air and offered a cup of tea... which my baby must have heard because the next contraction she came flying out! After that I wasn’t rushed to move rooms or get sorted and the room was cleaned (waters went everywhere) I was then moved across the corridor and looked after by another midwife who was equally as kind and caring! You can tell the midwives all work so well as a team! All in all a great experience... definitely recommend having your baby here!
"Couldn’t have been happier!!!"
