"Antenatal scan and consultant appointment..."

A very efficient and friendly service from the very start. I was greeted by friendly reception staff who booked me in quickly and directed me to the required waiting room. Following a short wait I was called into my appointment on time by the sonographer, who again was pleasant and professional. During the scan the sonographer explained everything she was doing, and pointed out all of the baby body parts that she was checking/measuring.

At the end of the scan the sonographer informed me that I would need to be seen but the consultant and that she would try to get me seen on the same day to save a return trip.

She returned and informed me that she had been able to get me an appointment slot.

I returned to the waiting room for a short wait before being called to see the public health worker. Again I returned to the waiting room for another short wait before seeing the consultant and nurse. Both of which were pleasant and professional during the consultation.

The department is a credit to the organisation and the staff should be proud of the service they provide.
