"Day Unit Surgery"

About: Furness General Hospital / General surgery

I recently had surgery to repair a Hernia, and was quite anxious about it.There was no need to worry. From first arriving until I was discharge everything was explained fully of what was going to happen in a professional and caring way. All staff from the Ward Nurses to the Surgeon and the theatre staff treated me with care and dignity. I couldn't of asked for anything better. They are all a credit to the NHS.
