I’ve recently visited the EPAGU quite a few times and I just have to say, I find the attitude of one of the receptionists unbelievable. She doesn’t greet you, she doesn’t talk and when she does, she tries to belittle you.

The nurses and gynaecologists are lovely. It’s a shame that first impressions DO count, and unfortunately their receptionist is ill mannered.

Thank you for your feedback. Whilst we are really pleased to hear that you have experienced good clinical care we are concerned to hear about your experience at reception. We would like to apologise that the receptionist did not greet you in the friendly and sensitive manner that we would expect. We are aware that have been some problems with this aspect of this very busy and caring service recently. We are planning to do some work with the team to improve this and ensure that provide a warmer and more sensitive welcome to women during what is often a very worrying time for women and their partners.
