What I liked
I would like to thank every body in Brightlingsea Ward for the wonderful way they have looked after me these last 8 days. I was released today but will be back in a few weeks to have my gall bladder removed. I was amazed at how efficient the doctors and nurses were. They gave me many blood tests and checked my temperature, etc as well as attending to my pain control effectively. I felt in very capable hands. The bed clothes were changed at least once a day. The ward was spotless; thoroughly cleaned everyday. Most of the food was reasonably good considering it is bulk-cooked. Everybody was friendly, including the porters who wheeled me around. I actually enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back in a few weeks.
This was my first visit to hospital at the age of 57, and all my fears and doubts about being a hospital patient have been dispelled by the excellent care and treatment that I received on Brightlingsea ward.
What could be improved
The paper mache pee bottles leak after awhile
"Excellent. I look forward to returning..."
