We have never received anything other than the utmost professionalism, the best care - in a caring way and help from NGH.
I visited myself last night, admitted to A&E - I came in feeling awful, I left feeling loved.
My son broke his wrist severely about 8 years ago, he needed surgery and was an absolute grump coming out of it (can't blame him!) but after a few hours on Disney Ward in the playroom, he didn't want to leave!
My daughter had to have several blood tests last year in one day over a period of hours. She very much enjoyed the Paddington Ward playroom and outdoor space inbetween having bloods taken.
My Nan - my Nan, the most important person in my life was treated with dignity and respect in her last few weeks. We did however note that their was a shared zimmer frame on the ward - what with trying to decrease the risk of infection we didn't feel appropriate that it was shared from bed to bed. I couldn't fault her care though from the Dr's to the ladies/gents bringing dinner - especially one lady on Darwin ward, unfortunately I do not know her name, but she kept us up to date with what Nan had eaten when Nan herself had forgotten. The menu also looked lovely and I heard very good reviews of the food. I suppose it does get a bit samey after weeks though. Thank you NGH X
