I have been very happy with the treatment I received during my stay. We all appreciate the constraints that the NHS are under & the visible challenges that the front line staff face is quite clear.
observations made. Duplication of work, nurses having to chase Doctors & specialist nurses for clarification as conflicting information given to patients resulting in individuals left confused.
Lack of clear concise information/ understanding or spoken English from Doctor.
Nurses being pulled from pillar to post trying to keep on top of workload
Exceptional length of time taken from being advised of discharge to receiving paperwork. An efficient process would speed up the turnaround of beds.
Throughout however, I would like to say that the staff that I came into contact with were totally amazing, their commitment to the roles, patients & team ethic was clearly apparent.
