"Chemotherapy"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary

When ask questions of dicors they do not answer and if you try to press them to give information the answers are vague and most often leave you more confused. Every appoint has been later than time it was set so the average time of getting into an appointment is 2 to 3 hours late

Clleaniness is poor and contamination occurs regular. Been on ward where it took 3 days for a sink to be unblocked whilst the toilet that was not working took 5 days to be repaired

There is no where to purchase any food as all the cafes are closed. If your admitted after 8pm you have no chance of getting anything to eat or a drink. If you are admitted late in the evening pray that you have already eaten as you will not be offered anything to eat or drink

Communications is very poor often you have to wait hours whilst one department tells another one with information about why you have been sent there

Onverall the hospital provides a poor service which gives you little confidence in the care your provided

I am so sorry to read how unhappy you were during your recent appointment due to staff attitude and length of wait for your appointment.

I am also concerned to read that you found the cleanliness to be poor, this is not the standard we expect for our patients.

It would be helpful to discuss your concerns with you so we can investigate these matters, please contact the Trust’s Patient Experience Team on Freephone 0800 028 8059 or by e-mail: dbth.pals.dbh@nhs.net.
