"Such Kindness and Care Eye department"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital / Ophthalmology

I have been attending the eye hospital for a while now with macular degeneration requiring injections and monitoring. I was really scared at the thought of a needle in the eye but the staff were so kind and understanding that I would urge no one to fear this procedure. Recently I have attended with my mother who requires a cataract operation, again the same care and efficiency. They are so busy and there seem to be so many patients but I can only say how impressed with them I am. The doctors I have met have been patient in explaining things to me and the nurses and other staff are always cheerful despite the workload.

Thank you for taking the time to share both your and your mother's positive experience of the Eye Department.

I will happily share your comments with the staff involved who will be pleased to have such positive feedback, its always nice for them to hear from happy patients. I hope that you have now fully recovered from your procedure.

Kindest Regards

Debbie
