"Cancer treatment"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General surgery

I have been treated for Cancer at this hospital including multiple operations and chemo and radio.

The hospital has very up to date equipment.

The parking arrangements for the chemo and radio units are excellent although the rest of the hospital is short on disabled parking.

I have found the staff very friendly and the day surgery and outpatients really well organised.

They always remembered that I was a human being.

The hospital was always clean.

Dear Patient,

Its great to read your positive comments about East Surrey Hospital and the care you have received.

As the person ultimately responsible for parking it is good to read the you found parking for Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy to be excellent. Both areas have dedicated free parking for patients.

On the other hand I'm sorry that you have had problems with disabled parking - we have 48 spaces and we know ideally we need more and are currently exploring some options to achieve this - your message serves as a reminder that this is a priority.

Best wishes

Ian
