"I cannot praise the service I’ve received enough"

I cannot praise the service I've received enough. I was admitted to hospital suffering with pneumonia and a pulmonary embolism. This was 3 years ago. I underwent a variety of examinations and was directed towards haematology and cardiology due to being an alcoholic. My GP organised for me to see a substance misuse counsellor at the primary care alcohol service and I just could not have asked for more, they have been absolutely superb. I just can’t say enough about how I’ve been treated, everyone has been brilliant.

I was admitted to hospital for a weeks detox and I’ve not had a drink since. I can honestly say I won’t touch the stuff again. If I need support, all I need to do is pick up the phone and there are services there to help me that I never knew existed, It’s all wonderful!
