"Insufficient food after hysterectomy and kept..."

About: Queen Charlotte's Hospital

My review was unfortunately deleted, but I put that down to the chromebook.

The operation was over by lunch time and I was able to read a newspaper.

I had to ask for lunch and got a sandwich.

They forgot dinner and only a fish curry was left - my sister went out and got me a sandwich.

I was awake for two hours in the night when another patient was brought in.

The cries of childbirth I heard from outside the window were in retrospect probably theatrical.

The next day staff were pleasant but a chest rash was not investigated and when I thanked staff they told me to wait for the result (several days later).

Fortunately my mother, in her 90s, cooked a meal that evening after I'd been let home that I was able to eat two helpings off, so my appetite had not disappeared.

However, something about the nature of the wounds, perhaps, and lack of abdominal pain meant that when I woke up the next morning at my sister's home I thought, Britain is evil.

The result was stage 1A, grade 1.
