"A very satisfied patient"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford) / Trauma and orthopaedics

I was recently a day patient for an ACL reconstruction.

I was looked after very well and felt involved in the process throughout. I have had terrible sickness after anaesthetics in the past but again (after a cartilage repair last year) the William Harvey hospital worked their magic and I felt fine when I came round.

It was quite busy as you’d expect but I was checked on regularly so never felt left alone.

I cannot thank all involved enough for their care of me. A great team of staff, nurses, anaesthetists, doctors etc.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your kind feedback. We are very pleased to hear you had such a positive experience and that you felt involved and cared for during your treatment. We have passed your comments on to the department for their information and sharing with staff. We know that staff are always glad to get positive feedback and we are sure they will be pleased to hear of your appreciation of the care and treatment they provided.

Having feedback about when things go right, is also a valuable tool for ensuring best practice throughout the Trust so I would like to thank you again for providing this to us.

Kind regards
