I saw my GP in early January and he said that he will refer me to a Rheumatologist. I called my surgery last week as I did not receive any appointment letter. A week later my appointment letter arrived and it is for several months time - after almost five and half months since I saw my GP.
I have been to my GP recently, called them twice and as per their advice I have called the e referral team twice and it seems nobody can do anything! One putting the blame on the other.
The NHS guideline says that the waiting time for non urgent appointments is 18 weeks and this is clearly over that.
