"6-8 weeks to have a scan reported !"

About: East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust

The average time for a scan to be reported I am told is 6-8 weeks: that is a totally unreasonable service and rather pointless from a clinical perspective as things may have changed in that time scale.

It's quite an appalling level of service which should be challenged.

Any department head that manages that poor level of response should find another job; they'd not survive a week in the private sector.
