About: The Banks Surgery

With so much negativity about our local over run doctors I’d like to say my bit.

13 years ago we moved to the village and registered 5 of us to the Banks surgery.

NEVER in those 13 years, have I NOT got the call back I asked for. NEVER been refused or turned away for an appointment on the day. Twice they have rushed my family to the hospital, once was a false alarm for meningitis, but my experience was truly lifesaving.

For the last 9 years I have been to the drs weekly/fortnightly/monthly for blood tests. Sometimes “I” got the wrong day or the wrong time, but was always fitted in, never allowed not to have that vital test.

Now my medication has been changed, I no longer require my visits to the nurse. So to the DR (now left) that rushed me to LRI and the practice nurses, I thank you for the dedication you have shown me, to the practice manager well done for having such an amazing team, and to everyone else,
