I recently had cause to take my wife who has dementia to the Queens Medical Centre A & E. We were there for approximately 2 hrs. 85% of which was wating around. It was a very stressful time as my wife was contstantly trying to leave. Could anything be done at QMC A & E to improve things for patients with dementia coming into the unit?
