What I liked

The care of all the staff involved in looking after me was excellent. I was in HDU and then on ward 12 and in both cases the staff worked extremely hard. They were all very friendly and made me feel as comfortable as possible.

Anything else?

I came into hospital by ambulance and had to have emergency surgery. The care i received from everybody, from the ambulance staff all the way through to my discharge from ward 12, was excellent. I felt that the treatment I received from my consultant was fantastic and I was very confident that I was getting the best possible care. The staff on HDU were amazing, in such a stressfull environment they were such happy, caring people who really did their best to make me feel comfortable. The staff on ward 12 were also very good, they worked so hard and also did whatever they could to help me.
