I am receiving 2 items through the continence prescription service.
1) Continence Pads
2) Catheters
With regard to the pads I was not impressed with the service from the district nurses.
A male district nurse arrived with a suitcase full of samples, put it on the kitchen table, opened it up and said “there you are, that’s what we’ve got”
There was no help or advice and very little sympathy, as a result of which I chose a pad which was completely unsuitable. The service improved after I rang and they sent me some more samples from which I have chosen a more suitable pad.
With regard to the catheters the service is first class. I rang in with my order and the catheters arrived promptly the next day.
