"Assured staff that made me feel at ease..."

What I liked

I am writing to thank the Radiologist and his assistant for easing my nerves as I underwent a Dye Injection for an Arthrogram on my hip. My anxiety was rising whilst in the waiting room and I was not looking forward to the experience at all. However, the Radiologist explained the procedure with a calm and cool confidence and his female assistant kept talking to me about my football injury to distract me from the big needle about to enter my thigh! The process went smoothly and I felt that the overall service deserved praise as I was wheeled to the MRI unit in a much better state of mind. Please pass on my comments if possible. Thank you.

What could be improved

I would have preferred it if there was music on the headphones when I was on the MRI scanner. I was given headphones but there was no music playing through them. It would have made the effort to stay still on the scanner a lot easier to attempt.

Anything else?

I saw a man complaining whilst I was waiting at the MRI reception. His complaint was so pedantic and negligible that I thought I would make the effort to comment on the great service that I was given in the Radiology area. I have had no ill effects from the Dye Injection process and therefore I can assume it was carried out to perfection by the staff.
