'Consultation' lasted all of thirty seconds to confirm name, and the time to receive information leaflets.
It took two phone calls to receive the confirmation for the agreed procedure appointment, as confirmations for random dates were sent first.
I had an appointment for a procedure requiring nil-by-mouth, and I checked in early. One hour after the arranged time (and after questioning this) I was led to the treatment room, where I was informed by the nurse that there are technical problems and I could wait there or come back after a few hours, hoping they get it sorted by then - I am not one for keeping my fingers crossed.
If you can afford to take the day off and wait until they are ready for you - great, but I don't and will arrange to have the procedure done somewhere where my time is valued and I am being kept informed about all things concerning my treatment.
"Long wait for nothing - no information"
