I explained to reception why I came and should have been told to go to A&E but no interest or questions about why I was there.
The waiting time was 1.5 hours when I arrived but extended to 5! Only 2 members of staff present
The GP made the wrong diagnosis. He told me my bladder was not really full and that I must drink more fluids. The scan at ER showed more than 500 ml !.He was not under the impression that I need a catheter but I insisted and A&E immediately suggested it.
Pts needed to be triage by qualified nurses to avoid time wasting. I saw several people at A&E which waited the 5 hours with old persons .
"Ni triage. Waited 5 hours to be told they do..."
