"Only a few good treatments"

About: Latimer Health Centre

Throughout my 3 years being a member of this practice, I have never really received a proper treatment. The treatments I got were always "rest and see if it's still the same in a month", or "I'm not really sure what to do about this. Do you have an idea of what it is?"

After my recent visit for foot pain, where I got the answer "I don't know who to refer you to. Let me know if you can think of a specialist and I'm happy to write a referral letter", I decided to switch GP. The day after I already had a new appointment, where the new GP told me I should have X Rays immediately. Turns out I have a fracture. Which I probably would have made a lot worse by "waiting a month" and "seeing how it goes then".

Thank you for your comments.

Most stress fractures of the foot heal given time with no active treatment given.

However, if you would like to discuss this with us, we are happy for you to do so.
