I came into Hilton Main ward for bilateral knee replacements. I cannot fault this ward at all, from the moment i arrived on day if surgery to 6 days later at discharge. The whole team work so well together and all the nursing staff were so patient & kind.
Having bilateral surgery i didn't get out of bed for the first 2 days, i felt a nuisance ringing the buzzer if i needed anything, however i was never once made to feel a nuisance to staff, and for that i really appreciate.
When i was up and walking, the encouragement i received from the nurses & other patients on the ward was overwhelming and has really helped with my progress so i thank you all for that.
Food i couldn't fault either, good selection an plenty of it!!!!
Cleanliness & hygiene was excellent too.
I think my only complaint would be the new visiting times which finished at 7.00pm. As my husband works till nearly 6.00, he only had about half an hour visiting by the time he got to the hosp through rush hour traffic.
Keep up the good work to all on Hilton Main.
