My husband was transferred to the John Radcliffe from The Royal Berkshire, Reading in February following headaches and confusion. The doctors in Oxford and Reading had decided he needed croniotomy and left temporatl lobectomy. We all thought this would be a major operation but to our surprise he was back in the ward sitting up within 4 hours. The operation has made such a difference, before he had headaches, memory loss, ear problems and the left side of his face was numb. Now he has no headaches, memory is getting much better almost back to normal, ear is fine and can now feel most of the left side to his face, it's fantastic in just 8 weeks and he feels so much better.
