"A Grateful Patient"

About: Peterborough City Hospital / Accident and emergency

This morning I had the misfortune to slip on some wet decking landing awkwardly on my elbow.

After discussing the appropriate place to visit we decided A&E

From arriving at reception we were signed in straight away by pleasant polite efficent ladies

5 minutes later I was seen by a very knowledgeable sympathetic consultant after a few questions some painkillers into x ray Straight back to the consultant confirmed broken radial head bone in elbow. Made comfortable with sling advice given and referral for fracture clinic.

The visit took 55 mins.

Excellent Team work.

Peterborough we are so lucky.
