What I liked
The labour ward staff were fantastic, The maternity staff were not.
Anything else?
The staff in the maternity ward were not helpful to me or my newborn baby. My GP had given details to the staff of my medication that needed to be increased once my baby was born, but the staff at the hospital decided NOT to carry this order out which affected me following the birth of my daughter. They never listened to me on various subjects which were affecting me. I was in the hospital for 2 nights and cannot once recall seeing a cleaner on the ward. The staff seemed more interested in the office computers rather than the patients. I could only get one jug of water a day, so had to make it last, where I feel I should of been able to have a couple of refills during the day.
I personally would not reconmend this hospital to any pregnant mum as they will not get the care they require in the maternity ward.
The labour ward and staff were fantastic, no faults there.
"Very dissapointed."
