"Triage"

About: Trinity Medical Centre

20.2.18

I contacted a triage nurse for help as I was in severe pain.

Was told I would be for a few days keep taking tablets for urine infection.

This is what I was told. If she had checked I am under a specialist at the hospital with problems with my bladder.

Really ill high temperatures.

Had to contact 111 after hours.

Really cold and un caring. You wait for such a long time to be connected then no help.

I am very dissatisfied with this service.

Dear Mrs Hampson,

Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us today. May I firstly apologise for any stress or inconvenience that we may have caused you. We always aim to provide quality service so it is upsetting to hear that you have not experienced this.

I have investigated the points you have raised within your comments with the triage team who assisted you on the 20th of February 2018. They have given me some feedback that I would be happy to discuss with you in the hopes that it could offer some justification for their advice. Please email us on our secure email address at: trinity.medicalcentre@nhs.net so we can discuss this further.

Alternatively, please call the surgery on 01924 784101 and ask for Hannah Wright. I work within the Patient Service Department and would be happy to assist you however possible.

Kind Regards,

Hannah Wright
