"Incompetent"

About: Islington Central Medical Centre

Moved into the area and tried to register as this is my closest clinic.

First, they gave me forms with some missing.

I completed the additional ones and returned them.

Heard nothing.

Tried calling for over 2 weeks period spending over 2 hours on hold in total.

Finally get through to be told I've not been registered.

The receptionist said she was sorry but they were missing and there was nothing she could do.

She was annoyed when asked if she could get someone to look into my 'lost' registration forms and with some frustration she advised it wasn't her job, it was someone else who had lost them, I should go to the drop in centre or I would have to put in new forms.

I said I'd spend my time finding an alternative clinic instead.

I find the attitude of staff totally unbelievable and I hope this is an isolated incident.
