My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the birth of our baby. An individual plan was made to enable my wife to have the labour experience she wanted, despite needing an induction. We were cared for by kind, compassionate and competent midwives and obstetricians (when needed briefly). The birth centre rooms were beautiful and we were able to bring in personal items to help make the room our own to help the labour process. The breastfeeding support was perfect and when our son became unwell, several hours after birth, this was quickly identified and treated whilst keeping us fully informed and involved. Every midwife, maternity support worker and doctor we came across during our week long stay was highly professional, compassionate and caring. We highly recommend St Helier!
The only thing that could be improved are the food options
