"Emergency admission"

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

My wife was recently admitted to Ward 33 at Pembury Hospital on a Saturday evening.

On arrival she was in a distressed and very sick state.

Her condition continued to deteriorated overnight and throughout Sunday morning, and on Sunday afternoon she was rushed to theatre.

The operation was a success and following a stay in ITU she was returned to Ward 33 where she spent a number of days recuperating.

She is now safely back at home where she is slowly recovering.

The doctors, nurses and a whole array of support staff showed my wife nothing but love, compassion and kindness . . . as well as a superb level of clinical care.

It is only right that I write to say thank you formally.

Your staff gave my wife their hand when she needed comfort, and cared for her when she could not care for herself.

We will never forget their love, compassion and kindness.

Thank you.
