I was taken by ambulance to A & E on 11 January having fallen and cut my head open.
I arrived at the hospital and was quickly admitted to the Department. The staff took some details and checked my blood pressure etc.
I waited until it was my turn to be seen by the Nurse Practitioner.
Two of the nurses sorted out the split in my forehead by using glue.
After cleaning up my head and face I was free to go and that was 2 hours after being admitted to the Lister hospital.
The nurses were very helpful and told me exactly what they were doing.
It is now 5 weeks after my visit to the A & E department and it is difficult to see the scar in my forehead.
I attribute this to the care that the nurses took in treating my injury.
I am very grateful to their care and attention.
I cannot speak more highly of the treatment and care that I received.
