I attended for total hip replacement on 15th February. I was thrilled with the professionalism and efficiently of the procedure as a whole. I was made to feel at ease and my worries were allayed from the moment I arrived on ward 9. The auxiliaries, staff nurses, physios, OT's and theatre staff worked tirelessly to keep me confortable and provide an excellent care package. They always had a smile on their faces and nothing was too much trouble. Angels!

After 18 months suffering the surgeon rightly diagnosed my need for a total hip replacement and from then it was a swift process to operation. I am so thankful to this fantastic surgeon and wonderful man for giving me a new lease of life. I am currently recovering at home and finally I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

What a fabulous treasure we have in the NHS.
