(as a service user),

I was admitted to University Hospital Crosshouse Kilmarnock as an emergency patient who had suffered a stroke. From the moment I arrived I received the absolute best of attention and treatment. Every nurse and doctor who attended to me were fantastic. 

Without the care and attention I received I would not be writing this today. My family and I will be eternally grateful to each and every one of them who helped me to a full and speedy recovery.

Well done to all doctors and nurses for the amazing job you all do and I would never be able to thank you enough.

What a scary time coming in to hospital with a suspected stroke for you and your family. As a team we recognised this and strive to deliver the best possible care from admission. Getting treatment fast is so important to allow you to have the best chance of recovery. Equally important is that this care is delivered by caring and compassionate staff.

I am glad you found care to be of a high standard and that this supported you in your recovery. It makes our day to read stories like yours and the difference it makes to both the patient and their family.

We really appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback. The team will be delighted to read your comments. I hope you are continuing to make a good recovery.
