"I unexpectedly received the best care and quickly"

Prior to moving to Spain almost 6 years ago, I always had the best care from my latest practice and was fortunate enough not to experience any long waits for further procedures, of which there were many!

Having had private medical care in Spain, which was as one would expect to be, top notch, and reading and hearing about the crisis in the NHS I was somewhat concerned when I had to come back to the UK.

I particularly needed to access mental health services which I thought was going to be a terrible chore as this was described as one of the most under serviced and poorly managed.

Not originally being from the local area, I just attended and registered with one of the nearest practices which, I am very happy to say, was Robson Street.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, registering was easy and arranging an appointment was even easier.

The doctor I saw was very respectful and concerned about my needs and she made quick referrals to services that I required.

I have only been back in the UK for a few months and I have already had appointments and I am already using the services that I was referred to.

I have contacted the surgery on many occasions by telephone and not really had any issues with regards to getting through and once I do, the reception staff are always friendly, helpful and informative.

I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised with the care that I have received from an NHS practice and the secondary services I have needed.
