"Children's A and E and dolphin ward"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

My 1 year old became very poorly very quickly and I took him to children's a&e. He was seen within 5 mins and the lady (who was a bank nurse) was outstanding and really listened to me. He was then taken promptly to the doctors area to have further tests and cannula. All the staff were incredible and acted really quickly. They cared for us too as parents and offered us drinks or of water etc and constant reassurance.

We were then taken to dolphin ward to be admitted and the room was very clean and staff were lovely. They left us to it largely due to the time night and when they came in to do obs they used torch light rather than disturbing my little ones sleep. Incredible team and an honour to say they are our local hospital. I hope I never have to use them again but if this is the case my family receives I will be put at ease if the time does come. Thank you so much for all your dedication and hard work. You are an asset to the profession.
