About: Good Hope Hospital / Colorectal surgery

What excellent treatment I had when I went for a colonoscopy. The week before I went for pre-assessment and on Friday went for the procedure. The staff and the Consultant were friendly and explained everything to you. Even though you may feel nervous they smoothed the way for you. The next day I had a follow up call to ask if there were any problems.

We are very fortunate to have a NHS service with committed staff.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding the care and treatment you recently received at Good Hope Hospital.

I appreciate that you were nervous, which is understandable as you were having a Colonoscopy; however I am pleased that the staff were friendly and that they explained everything to you.

I totally agree with you, our staff are committed to their profession and to the NHS.

I will forward your posting the senior management team so they are aware and I will ask that it is shared with the staff, as I m as I am sure they will be delighted to read your positive feedback.

I do hope you have recovered well following your procedure.
