"Staff were amazing"

I had a very tough pregnancy labour and delivery, I spent a lot of time on all three maternity wards and I cannot thank the midwives, doctors and all the other staff enough for what they did for me. I contracted Sepsis after the delivery amongst other complications that happened during delivery and after and the doctors and midwives were amazing. The two main doctors who took care of me were amazing and soon had me on the mend. The midwives, especially on the delivery suit and trainee midwives I cannot thank you enough for help and support of me and my husband at what turned out to be a rather traumatic time but all ended well. What you do on a daily basis is amazing and I hope you know how much you are all appreciated. Thank you for all you did for us and our little lady. A nurse on Day Assessment Unit - thank you for taking good care of us. Please can you give my special thanks to the delivery suit midwives who took care of me and to the doctors.

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter and please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post such a wonderful review of maternity services at Royal Cornwall Hospital. I am sorry to hear that you had such a traumatic time during your labour, delivery and experienced complications, but that the Doctors and Midwives helped and supported you and your husband throughout. I will ensure that your feedback is shared with all relevant staff as I know that they will be as equally thrilled to receive it.

I hope that you are recovering well and enjoying family time with your little lady.
