"Dating scan disappointment"

I was looking forward to having my dating scan and I took my children along as they were excited to meet baby in mummy’s tummy. For religious reasons I asked for a female sonographer but was declined that. Instead I felt I was treated like a protocol and given a phone number to ‘rearrange’ my appointment. My husband took time off work to be here and they couldn’t accommodate. Just told everyone has full lists. I rang the number I was given and The lady on the phone was very unhelpful and gave me more rehearsed phrases with empty words, no reassurance. She kept saying there are no gurantees I will get a female, even though there is 11 of them working in the dept!! I was frustrated and let down. In the end she told me to go private. I was not happy with the way I was talked to nor the attitude of how the matter was dealt with.
