I have been hard of hearing for over 10 years now and my hearing has now got so bad that I cannot use the phone. I now need to make an appointment with the audiology department at Southend hospital but it seems that the only way to do this is by phone? ? Doesn't really make sense to me that this is the only way to make an appointment with a department that primarily deals with people who are deaf and hard of hearing! Surely in this day and age with all the technology we have, they should by now have introduced online booking? ?
