My 10 year old daughter has been suffering with constant earache and infections for well over a year now with lots of time taken off school caused by being in constant pain. After endless visits to the doctors and countless bottles of antibiotics it was finally a relief to hear those words ( we are going to refer your daughter to be looked at by a specialist ) at last I thought , we can finally get to the bottom of this and my daughter started to be hopefull that a day would come where she wold no longer be in pain. Well we went to the referal appointment on Thursday they did the usual hearing and pressure test were sent back to the waiting room to be seen by the doctor to discuss the results. They called her name, the doctor looked in her ears " there is nothing wrong with her ears , her hearing test came back fine we don't need to see her again " if only you could see my daughter now rolling around in pain screaming with earache and tell her there is nothing wrong. I will be getting a second opinion
"Referal disappointed"
